Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised the shareholders of UK-based Phase 3 Connectors Ltd on the sale of the company to Swedish technology services provider Sdiptech AB.
Liverpool-based Phase 3 was founded 2004 and is a leading provider of high-current power connectors, which are used in a wide range of applications, including live events, back-up power for data centres and other industrial power settings.
Sdiptech, which designs, manufactures and supplies high-quality single-pole power connectors for industrial and event sectors in the UK and internationally, has acquired the entire issued share capital in Phase 3, making it Sdiptech’s fifteenth business unit in the UK.
Corporate partner Sean Lightfoot and legal director James Redshaw advised Phase 3 on the sale, together with associate Rachel Faulconbridge, also in the firm’s Corporate team.
In a growing market for reliable and scalable power solutions, we were delighted to provide legal advice to the management team at Phase 3 guiding them through the sale of their business to Sdiptech. By combining the Phase 3’s strengths in the UK market with the additional resource and backing that Sdiptech brings to the party, both companies stand to benefit from increased growth opportunities. It was a pleasure to see the deal successfully across the line.James Redshaw
