PVC polymer products manufacturer Polyblend UK Ltd has received investment from Longcare Group, a UK headquartered group of highly specialised, technical products and services companies.

Matt Noon, partner and head of office, Liverpool, and senior associate Katy Oakes, of commercial law firm Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool Corporate team, acted as legal advisers to the shareholders of Polyblend on the deal.

Andy McCall and Matt Douglas from Langtons provided corporate finance advice to the Polyblend Shareholders.

Widnes-based Polyblend UK Ltd is one of the market leaders in pvc based polymers with particular expertise in manufacturing a comprehensive range of liquid plastisols and dispersion systems. In addition and complementary to its core manufacturing business, Polyblend also distributes a specialised range of plasticisers, resins and PVC additives.

Polyblend has already established a blue-chip UK and overseas customer base. The investment by Longacre will not only help grow the business in its existing markets but allow the team to explore opportunities for acquisitive growth in related markets. We wish both parties every success in this next exciting stage of Polyblend’s growth.
