Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has advised the shareholders of leading digital communications platform Telserve Group on sale of the business to plan.com.
Shropshire-based Telserve is a fast-growing UK digital communications specialist employing 60 people from its Telford base. Its acquisition by Isle of Man headquartered plan.com, Europe’s fastest growing technology and telecoms provider, forms part of the latter’s ambitious growth strategy. Now part of plan.com, Telserve will expand to a second office in October 2022, in Birmingham, giving the combined business a presence in four locations and a team of over 170 personnel.
Telserve’s senior leadership team, including managing director Stuart Box, will remain with the business to support the group’s UK expansion.
Matt Noon, head of Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool office and its Liverpool Corporate team, led on the provision of legal advice to Telserve, together with associate Ben Correia de Sousa.
