Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised Celnor Group, a provider of critical data for compliance, safety and sustainability purposes, on its acquisition of Primary Water Solutions (PWS) Limited and SSG Training & Consultancy Limited (SSG). Both strategic partnerships enhance Celnor Group’s risk management and safety and compliance divisions.
Celnor Group is backed by private equity house Inflexion, whose industry-leading expertise in consolidating the TICC (testing, inspection, certification, and compliance) market aims to build the business with an ambitious acquisition strategy.
Established in 2011 and based in Gloucester, PWS is an independent consultancy specialising in water and air hygiene, with a strong focus on managing the risks associated with waterborne pathogens such as Legionella. They provide risk assessments, monitoring programmes, and tailored training to help organisations across the UK meet their legal and safety obligations. They support a wide range of clients including the NHS, local authorities, schools, colleges, and private sector businesses of all sizes.
Established in 1997, SSG has built a strong reputation over three decades as a trusted provider of health and safety, environmental, and HR compliance services. Based in the South West but supporting clients nationally and internationally, SSG delivers a wide range of workplace safety solutions, including accredited training courses, professional consultancy services, and its popular ADVISOR membership scheme, which helps organisations achieve compliance and improve performance.
