Our Corporate team is pleased to have advised the shareholders of Hylomar Holdings Ltd on the sale of the business to Chase Corporation.

Hylomar is a Wigan-based manufacturer of high-performance sealing and adhesive materials, serving industrial and engineering markets worldwide. With more than 60 years of experience, the business has built a strong reputation for its specialist product range and technical expertise.

Chase Corporation is a global supplier of engineered materials for high-reliability applications. The acquisition expands its adhesives and sealants portfolio and will support its continued growth.

The transaction marks a successful exit for PHD Industrial Holdings and underscores the strong appeal of established UK manufacturing businesses to international strategic buyers.

Our team was led by our Chair and senior corporate practitioner, Jonathan Brown, supported by Senior Associate Ben Correia de Sousa and Apprentice Paralegal Charlie Smith, acting for the shareholders throughout the transaction.

Hylomar has built an impressive reputation over more than six decades and this transaction reflects the strength of the business and its market position. We were pleased to support the shareholders in achieving this successful outcome and wish the business every success as it embarks on its next chapter with Chase Corporation.
