LWC Drinks acquires The Wigan Beer Company and Joseph Keegan & Sons

Our Corporate team has advised the shareholders of Clarke Jones Holdings Ltd, the holding company of The Wigan Beer Company and Joseph Keegan & Sons, on the sale of the entire issued share capital of the business to leading independent drinks wholesaler LWC Drinks. The transaction marks a significant milestone for the long-established North West drinks businesses and supports LWC's continued growth strategy across the UK drinks distribution market.

Established more than 30 years ago, The Wigan Beer Company has built a strong reputation as a drinks wholesaler serving pubs, bars, restaurants and hospitality venues across the North West, while Joseph Keegan & Sons has a longstanding presence in North Wales through its Holyhead operation.

For LWC Drinks, the UK's largest independent drinks wholesaler, the acquisition strengthens its presence across the North West and North Wales, bringing together businesses with strong local roots and shared commitments to customer service.
