Our Corporate team is pleased to have advised Lync Wealth Management on another two strategic acquisitions as the nationwide wealth management group continues to expand its presence across the UK financial planning market.
The latest transaction sees Lync acquire Carleton Financial Planning, a long-established Belfast-based financial planning firm that has served clients for more than 50 years. Carleton has now joined and rebranded to Lync Wealth Management. The acquisition further strengthens Lync's presence in Northern Ireland while adding another independent financial advisory business to its growing portfolio.
The deal follows Lync’s acquisition of West Midlands financial advisers TKV Financial Management earlier in the summer. Founded in 2015 and based in Kingswinsford, TKV Financial Management specialises in pensions and investments.
Lync's network now includes more than 60 financial planning practices across the UK and the business continues to pursue a highly active acquisition strategy, partnering with established advisory firms that share its client-focused approach.
Our Corporate team also supported Lync on the acquisitions of Yorkshire Rose Financial Planning and Hayden Kilkelly Independent Financial Advisers, announced earlier this year. Together, the deals demonstrate Lync's continued momentum as it grows its national footprint through targeted acquisitions of high-quality financial planning businesses.
Lync is owned by an affiliate of platform and wealth manager 7IM Group, reflecting the wider group's commitment to growth and investment across the wealth management sector.
