We’re pleased to have supported Specialty Ingredients Distribution Group (SIDG), a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity, in its acquisition of i-ingredients, a UK-based distributor focused on the fast-growing nutraceuticals market.
SIDG is a pan-European strategic alliance of specialty ingredients and chemicals distributors, serving the Life Sciences sector as well as selected industrial applications.
The transaction marks SIDG’s first acquisition in the UK and a significant milestone in its international expansion strategy. Supported by Waterland Private Equity and led by its founding families and long-term management team, SIDG continues to execute its buy-and-build strategy, strengthening its presence in key European markets.
Founded in 2012, i-ingredients supplies high-quality, innovative nutraceutical ingredients, including probiotics, exclusive clinically proven active ingredients, and certified organic botanicals.
Our Private Equity team, led by Partner David Mkhitarian and Legal Director Hannah Summers, acted as lead legal advisers to SIDG.
