At Hill Dickinson, giving back reflects our values, our culture and our commitment to focusing on what matters – including the communities in which we live and work.
That’s why we are proud to launch our new, firmwide focus for giving back: creating brighter futures for children and young people.
A shared mission to make a greater impact
As a firm, we are committed to supporting the causes that matter most to our people, while focusing our collective efforts where we can make the greatest difference.
The challenges facing children today are significant. Across the UK and beyond, too many young people experience poverty, poor health and limited opportunities. These inequalities can shape outcomes for life. We believe every child deserves a healthy start, a life free from hardship and the opportunity to thrive.
Through our new strategy, we will work together to nurture wellbeing, ease hardship and help children reach their full potential.
Supporting life-changing work through the Hill Dickinson Foundation
At the heart of our approach is the Hill Dickinson Foundation. Through it, we will partner with charities on impactful projects that help children live healthier lives, access early support and build confidence, skills and resilience.
As part of our giving strategy, we are delighted to announce our first partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital, a world-leading specialist children’s hospital. Hill Dickinson will donate £25,000 towards the development of an infusion bay in its Children’s Cancer Centre, helping to create a calm, dedicated space where young patients can receive care.
The strategy will also see us work with Everton in the Community, through our partnership with Hill Dickinson Stadium, to support a new project focused on reducing child obesity. The initiative will empower primary school-aged children in Merseyside through health literacy programmes – equipping young people with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives.
Our new office charities
Alongside these partnerships, our long-running office charity programme remains a key part of our giving activity. We are delighted to announce our UK office charities for the next two years:
Birmingham Children’s Hospital
The Leeds Children’s Charity
Little Lights Liverpool Baby Hospice
The Felix Project
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital
Tiny Lives Trust
Our Schools Outreach Programme will also continue to provide young people with opportunities to build skills, confidence and readiness for work through initiatives including internships and apprenticeships.
This new strategy marks an important step forward in how we give back as a firm. By focusing our efforts and working together, we can deliver meaningful, lasting impact for children and young people in the UK and beyond.
