We’re pleased to announce our latest round of annual promotions, with four colleagues being added to the firm’s partnership.
Having recorded a ninth consecutive year of sustained organic growth, Hill Dickinson has recently promoted more than 30 colleagues – including 11 new legal directors and six new senior associates.
Ruth Cockram, Becca Layton, Richard Marshall and Kun Ho Park have all now become Partners, growing the firm’s overall partnership to 180.
Based in the firm’s head office in Liverpool, Ruth is a key member of the firm’s Real Estate finance team, working on some of the sector’s most significant transactions on behalf of investors and developers, as well as institutional lenders including HSBC, Lloyds Bank, NatWest, Santander and Barclays.
Also based in Liverpool, Becca has been with the firm for over a decade, starting as a trainee solicitor. She specialises in Real Estate finance, with clients having ranged from Betfred to Chester Zoo, as well as high street banks and alternative lenders.
Richard joined the firm just under three years ago and has been central to the establishment of the firm’s Private Client practice in its growing regional bases in Newcastle and Leeds. Covering personal matters, tax and estate planning, Richard is also chair of the North East and Cumbria branch of STEP.
2026 marks Kun Ho’s 10th anniversary at Hill Dickinson, having joined the firm’s Singapore office as an Associate. As part of Hill Dickinson’s market-leading shipping team, he represents leading international shipowners, charterers, operators, traders, cargo owners and underwriters.
The promotions follow a landmark year for the firm, having recently celebrated the first anniversary of our stadium naming rights deal with Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium. The firm has also undergone a significant refresh of its brand, while delivering strategic investment across our office portfolio, including relocations in Birmingham and Monaco, and to Manchester’s award-winning St Michael’s development.
It’s my pleasure to welcome Ruth, Becca, Richard and Kun Ho to the partnership – four individuals who continue to play an important role in supporting our growth strategy while consistently embodying our values and the exceptional culture that we have worked hard to develop.Craig Scott

“This latest round of promotions is a reminder that our recent successes have only been possible because of the quality of our teams and the positive impact they make for our clients day after day – whether they are new to the firm or have developed with us since the start of their careers. After another year of sustained growth and investment, I’m looking forward to seeing the positive role they play in shaping the future of Hill Dickinson over the next 12 months and beyond.”
