Law firm Hill Dickinson has been announced as a finalist for Corporate Team of the Year in The Lawyer’s annual legal awards.
It is the first time the firm has submitted an entry for The Lawyer awards, which attract submissions from many of the UK’s biggest and most renowned law firms.
Hill Dickinson is shortlisted alongside Addleshaw Goddard, Ashurst, Baker McKenzie, Burges Salmon, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Macfarlanes and Slaughter and May following a year in which it advised on several high-profile transactions, including the £577 million AIM IPO of Big Technologies PLC in July 2021.
Completed by the firm’s London Corporate team, the AIM IPO deal was the largest ever undertaken by Hill Dickinson, and the deal’s success punctuates the continued growth of its corporate practice.
The shortlisting comes after Hill Dickinson recently moved up to third in the FTSE AIM 100 rankings for total AIM-listed clients, surpassing DLA Piper and Gowlings. The firm is now also ranked in the FTSE AIM 50 rankings with two clients, just three clients adrift of the top-ranking firm.
