Alex is an associate in our Corporate team in Birmingham. Alex undertakes a wide variety of corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, private equity investments, group reorganisations, joint ventures and corporate advisory.

Alex joined Hill Dickinson in February 2024, having previously trained and qualified at an established law firm. Alex advises companies and individuals on all aspects of corporate transactions across a wide range of sectors. 

Alex studied Law at the University of Birmingham before attaining a distinction in the LPC from the University of Law.

  • Experience

    • Advised Reconomy (backed by EMK Capital), the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management and recycling services, in relation to multiple acquisitions as part of its ‘buy and build’ strategy. This has included advising Reconomy in respect of its acquisitions of ACM Environmental, Eurokey Recycling, Advanced Waste Solutions, UK Waste Solutions and Ecofficiency amongst others.
       
    • Advised regional accountancy practice BK Plus on its investment from Palatine.
       
    • Advised US private equity house, Acorn Growth Companies, on the leveraged buy-out of EirTrade Aviation.
       
    • Advised Phenna Group (backed by Oakley Capital) on numerous acquisitions.
       
    • Advised regional accountancy practice Dains LLP on its investment from Horizon Capital.
       
    • Supported Reconomy on a significant refinancing, group reorganisations and provided general corporate advisory support, including company secretarial services to all Reconomy group companies.
       
    • Advised the shareholders of Lexon (UK) on the sale of Lexon to the Well Pharmacy division of Bestway Group.
