Alison is a partner in our corporate group and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, disposals and takeovers acting for the target company and the bidder, listed company matters including IPOs and secondary issues on AIM and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and capital reductions, share capital reorganisations and company law advice.

Prior to joining Hill Dickinson, Alison was a partner at Eversheds Sutherland and before that a partner at Pinsent Masons. She has a breadth of experience advising public and private companies and financial institutions and investment banks.

Alison specialises in all aspects of company law and corporate transactions, including public company matters and equity capital markets.

Alison is a member of the regional advisory group of the London Stock Exchange.

    Alison’s relevant experience includes advising:

    • Tombola Limited and its shareholders on the sale of the Tombola group to Flutter Entertainment plc for over £400m.
    • Nicelabel International Group on its sale to Riverside Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum. 
    • Tyman plc on its US$200m acquisition from Melrose Industrials and its related open offer and move to the main market of the London Stock Exchange. 
    • Revolution Beauty Group plc on its successful IPO with a market capitalisation on IPO in excess of £500m.
    • Universe Group plc on its takeover by US Inform Information Systems Limited and its scheme of arrangement.
    • A Swiss-listed mining group on its prospectus and a potential IPO on a European exchange.
    • Yule Catto on its £440m class 1 acquisition of German-headquartered international group and its supporting rights issue and debt funding.
    • Hardys and Hanson plc on its £280m public takeover by Greene King and inter-conditional schemes of arrangement across various classes of shares.  
    • Turner & Townsend plc on its pre-IPO reorganisation and £220m proposed IPO to the main market.
    • Alison also provides her plc clients with board training and corporate governance and listing rule advice.
