Carla graduated from University College London Faculty of Laws followed by The College of Law, Chester and joined Hill Dickinson in 1996 as a trainee solicitor. Prior to joining Hill Dickinson she was Assistant Operational Manager at a large NHS Trust, dealing with claims, inquests, complaints and operational issues requiring legal input. She has been with us in various roles over the intervening years.
Carla also has a background in teaching law, having taught at undergraduate and post graduate level as a Senior Lecturer in Law. She has provided training many times to clients, medical and nursing professionals and colleagues on all aspects of health related litigation.
Specialisms include high value, complex clinical negligence litigation in all specialisms, with a particular focus on neurological/brain injury and catastrophic injury claims.
