Charlotte Jones

Charlotte is a legal director in the employment team offering advice to the NHS and other healthcare bodies. Charlotte has a particular interest in advising on the legal issues arising from doctors in training and the Gold Guide.

Details

Charlotte qualified into the employment team in 2011. She advises both private and public sector clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. She also provides client training.

Charlotte has experience in advising on disciplinary issues involving senior medical staff and Maintaining High Professional Standards (MHPS). She also has experience in advising on the legal issues arising from doctors in training and the Gold Guide. She deals with Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing - in addition to conducting her own advocacy at the Employment Tribunal. Charlotte has defended a number of claims for judicial review before the High Court. She also has experience in advising NHS bodies in relation to complaints by NHS pension scheme members to the Pension Ombudsman.

Charlotte completed her law degree at the University of Manchester and studied the LPC at the College of Law in Chester.
