About me
I’m a shipping expert who focuses on dry shipping and contractual disputes, working with ship owners, charterers, operators, traders, P&I Clubs and marine insurers.
I advise on legal and commercial aspects of charterparties, bills of lading, COAs and other shipping contracts. I handle disputes arising from off-hire claims, demurrage, performance warranties and cargo and vessel damage and disputes regarding employment orders, vessel arrest and security. I’m also experienced in commercial litigation and civil procedure, due to my involvement in a long-standing matter.
I want the same thing my clients want: to obtain the best possible outcome. To get there, I provide a realistic assessment of the merits of their case and offer clear, strategic advice that clients can draw upon to manage risk and resolve complex issues in their favour.
A challenge excites me and I enjoy working on live matters across various jurisdictions and time zones.
I often take part in charity and wellbeing initiatives and have competed in the LYR Oarsome Challenge three times.
