David has been based in Leeds since 2016. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, David practised at two other Leeds law firms, where he worked on a broad range of commercial and IT matters for clients in the technology, healthcare and insurance sectors.
David specialises in commercial contracts which involve IT and technology, from software licences and hosting agreements to large-scale outsourcing and infrastructure procurement. He also deals with data processing and data protection matters. David has experience advising clients in relation to the protection and exploitation of intellectual property.
David studied law at the University of East Anglia, where he completed his undergraduate LLB in 2009 and his LLM master’s degree in 2010.
