Details

Eleanor’s information law expertise covers compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements. Eleanor’s experience includes advising on: data sharing, data protection arrangements in commercial contracts, use of data for research, impact assessments, handling data breaches (including Information Commissioner investigations), compliance with data subject rights and due diligence as part of corporate transactions.  She also advises on transparency requirements under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations. 

Eleanor advises on the full spectrum of public law issues including equalities, consultation/ engagement, service reconfiguration, human rights and compliance with statutory powers and duties.  This includes handling threatened and actual judicial review claims up to the Court of Appeal.  Eleanor often advises on regulatory issues affecting the life sciences sector including regulation by the Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulation Agency (MHRA).

Eleanor’s clients include NHS England (the body responsible for commissioning over £100bn of NHS services), Integrated Care Boards, NHS providers, independent sector providers of healthcare and healthtech suppliers.
