Eleni Baxivanou

Eleni is an experienced transactional shipping lawyer, specialising in sale and purchase transactions, ship finance, banking and corporate law. She represents ship owners, banks and financial institutions in relation to a variety of transactional shipping matters. Eleni also provides advice on all matters related to the acquisition and sale of new-building and second-hand vessels, registrations under Greek and foreign flags, loan agreements and associated financial security agreements as well as corporate matters related to Greek, foreign and off-shore companies.

Eleni also has experience in the establishment managing companies in Greece and registration of vessels under Greek and foreign flags.

Eleni completed her law degree (LLB) at Democritus University of Thrace and obtained an LLM from Swansea University in International Maritime Law with distinction.
