Details

Elizabeth is a barrister in the healthcare team. She completed her training at the Nursing and Midwifery Council before joining the self employed bar where she practised in crime and healthcare regulatory work. Having returned to the employed bar, she undertook a full range of healthcare advisory work with a particular emphasis on representing clients in courts and tribunals.

Elizabeth’s specialisms include inquests (including article 2/jury inquests), fitness to practise work (across a range of regulators), Mental Health Act advisory work, Court of Protection/Mental Capacity Act and HFEA work.

Elizabeth completed her undergraduate degree in history with economics at the University of Manchester. She then went on to complete her legal training in Manchester before being called to the Bar in 2008 by Middle Temple.
