Emily joined Hill Dickinson in 2017 as a paralegal in the corporate commercial team. Prior to qualifying in April 2021, Emily trained at the firm and spent four months on client secondment.
Emily has experience in a wide range of corporate transactions and governance work. She assists clients undertaking initial public offerings, reverse takeovers and secondary fundraises. In 2018, Emily was part of the team that advised Sativa Investments plc (now Sativa Group plc) on its admission to the NEX Exchange Growth Market (now the AQSE Growth Market), making it the first initial public offering in the medicinal cannabis sector in the UK since 1998.
Emily studied law at the University of Exeter, graduating with a LLB in 2015. Whilst working at the firm, she completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law with a distinction.
