About me
I’m a legal director in the firm’s Marine and Trade team and a barrister specialising in dispute resolution and litigation. My clients are typically owners, charterers and insurers.
Based in Monaco, I work exclusively in the superyacht sector, assisting clients with wide-ranging disputes that arise in the context of sale and purchase, ownership, management and operation, insurance, and chartering and crewing.
The sheer variety of cases I handle is what I find most rewarding about my work, and being able to leverage a global network of experts means my team is able to offer comprehensive solutions to clients.
My goal is always to achieve a realistic, cost-effective and fair resolution to the issue in dispute, whether we go to court or seek alternative methods of dispute resolution (ADR). I’m a strong proponent of ADR, including mediation, where appropriate.
That’s where creativity, empathy and strategic thinking come in – all skills I employ to help determine the best way forward in any given scenario to achieve the best result for my clients.
