Grant has been with the firm since July 2015, having previously been a partner at Addleshaw Goddard. He has many years’ experience working for developers, investors, funders, landowners and local authorities on a range of planning and environmental matters.
Grant advises clients on commercial, retail, leisure, residential, mixed use and energy/waste/infrastructure/commodities developments. He has considerable experience advising on large planning schemes, strategy, procedure and preparation of the application/appeal and supporting technical information. He advises on the promotion of land through the development/neighbourhood plan process, legal challenges/judicial review, compulsory purchase and highway law, village greens, environmental issues and the negotiation of planning/highway agreements.
Grant is a graduate of the University of Manchester. He is also a legal associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
