About me

I’m a public procurement law expert, who specialises in healthcare. My focus is helping clients navigate the changing procurement landscape following the introduction of the Procurement Act 2023 and the Provider Selection Regime for healthcare procurement.

I work with clients from both the public and private sectors, including NHS England, NHS trusts and private sector suppliers to the NHS.

Clients describe me as approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. I take the time to understand what is required and offer comprehensive and pragmatic advice. I build strong relationships characterised by mutual trust, so I can be there for my clients in the long term.

Being qualified in three jurisdictions and having spent a decade as an in-house lawyer in the Scottish Parliament, I have a deep understanding of both the law and what is takes to create successful working relationships between the public and the private sector. Drawing on this experience, I ensure my clients are armed with the insight they need to make fully informed decisions.

I find my work incredibly rewarding, as it allows me to play a part in bringing large-scale projects to life. Seeing how this supports and improves healthcare services makes it all worth it.

  • Qualified in Germany, Scotland and England and Wales and a member of the Law Society of Scotland.
