Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Iain worked at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, in addition to completing two masters degrees at European universities.
Iain started his career in the Singapore office and returned in August 2020 having gained two years of post-qualification experience in the marine team in London. Iain handles international contentious work in both international arbitration and the English courts arising from charterparty disputes, bill of lading disputes, marine insurance and cargo claims, on behalf of clients including shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs, brokers and salvors.
