Jim has a particular interest and experience in the hotel and leisure sector. He and his team provide a range of legal services to real estate sector clients including advice in relation to landlord and tenant matters, sales and acquisitions, development and funding arrangements, joint venture arrangements, and banking and real estate finance. He believes that in order to do his job properly he needs to understand not only his clients’ key goals and business objectives for each transaction, but also their key business objectives for the future. This enables him to provide a much better and deeper business adviser relationship to each client.

Jim graduated in history from the University of Southampton in 1986 and, having attended the College of Law, Chancery Lane, London and completed his articles with Boodle Hatfield, he qualified as a solicitor in 1990.
