Jonathan Brown

Jonathan specialises in all forms of M&A corporate transactions for a wide range of investors and corporate clients, including quoted companies such as Stobart Group; large private companies like Cammell Laird, Edward Billington and Son Ltd and Bibby Line Group as well as owner-managed companies. Jonathan also has a wide experience of dealing with overseas companies acquiring companies in the UK and of UK companies acquiring companies overseas.

Jonathan has been involved in a wide variety of sectors, in particular transport, where he has been involved in the acquisition of airports, airlines and road haulage distribution companies. He is also highly experienced in the food manufacturing and other manufacturing industries.

Jonathan has significant experience in being a non-executive director of private and public sector companies such as Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Medicash Health Benefits Limited, Praetura Group, PHD Industrial Holdings, Stobart Air UC and Derwent Lodge Estates Limited.   

Jonathan was educated Liverpool College before reading law at Sheffield University and attending Chester College of Law where he was awarded LLB (Hons) and SOL (Hons).

Jonathan also received the Corporate Finance qualification (CF) from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
