Jonathan is a highly experienced corporate finance lawyer with a focus on public work (particularly in relation to IPOs on AIM and standard segment of Main Market), mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and joint ventures (particularly management teams). He combines his extensive legal knowledge and significant deal experience with ability to understand market mechanics, valuation techniques and deal structuring from working on the buyside. Jonathan also specialises in energy and equity capital markets.

    • Advising on the AIM IPO of Hercules Site Services plc
    • Advising on AIM IPO of Bens’ Creek plc
    • Advising British Honey Company on their subsequent flotation on AQSE (Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market) raising gross proceeds of £4.25million
    • Advising Zaim Credit Systems Plc on the admission of its entire issued share capital to the standard listing segment of the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market and the associated fundraising. This was the first time a non-fund issuer has issued an FCA approved IPO prospectus since the rules changed in July 2019
    • Advising UK Oil & Gas Plc (UKOG) on its acquisition of Magellan Petroleum (UK) Investment Holdings Limited from Tellurian Investments LLC (Tellurian), a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Tellurian Inc, in a £12 million cash and shares deal.
