Details

Lee-Anne advises a range of clients in relation to all non-contentious and contentious employment law matters including TUPE, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance processes, termination of employment, restructuring and redundancy, drafting contracts, staff handbooks and settlement agreements. 

She is regularly asked to advise public sector employers, primarily NHS clients, on matters of sensitivity including removal of senior executives and assists with complex and contentious internal processes which include disciplinary issues involving medical staff. Lee-Anne also advises on matters of industrial action and has prepared matters for High Court injunctive proceedings. Other matters include disciplinary issues involving medical staff, for example, the dismissal of doctors.

Lee-Anne regularly presents seminars on employment law updates and training workshops and has a monthly slot on BBC radio Merseyside where she discusses topical employment cases.

    • Advising on change management/business reorganisations and how to successfully implement change where it is unwelcome by employees and unions
    • Advising trusts on how best to deal with employees discovered to have criminal records (pursuant to an application to the DBS)
    • Advising a trust on the implications of reinstatement, particularly where an on-going discrimination claim exists
