About me
I specialise in shipping and yacht litigation. I act for shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, marine insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders across the shipping, trade, and yachting sectors.
I have a pragmatic, commercially focused outlook, and I work closely with clients to deliver clear, strategic advice tailored to their objectives. My experience in litigation and sanctions, combined with insight gained during a secondment with an IG P&I Club, gives me a well-rounded perspective. This is a real asset, as it allows me to give holistic advice across both contentious and regulatory issues.
I am known for remaining calm and confident in complex, high-stakes situations, helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. Seeing the tangible impact of this work is deeply rewarding.
Beyond client work, I mentor junior colleagues and have volunteered with legal education and community outreach initiatives. Outside work, I enjoy exploring different cultures through travel, food, and literature.

- Represented clients in Commercial and Admiralty Court proceedings.
- Acted for clients in international arbitration (ad hoc and institutional).
- Participated in successful mediations.
- Advised clients on sanctions compliance, including pre-fixture due diligence and drafting bespoke clauses.
