Mark joined the firm in February 2016 as a partner and Head of our Commercial, TMT & IP Practice. Before this, he was a partner and Head of the Commercial/IP/IT Team at Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP. Before that, he spent several years at Baker & McKenzie in London and Chicago and has also previously been seconded to Hewlett Packard and other technology businesses. He changed role to become a consultant in our London office in January 2024.

Mark has extensive experience in advising on all commercial, regulatory, IP, IT, data, Internet, digital business, technology, media and online services issues He basically does everything needed in the life of a business EXCEPT corporate, real estate, tax and employment. Mark achieved the top first in law at University College London in the early 1990s where he achieved his Llb and won every single law prize at UCL (over 25 of them!) in his years there. He also achieved Distinction at the College of Law and while he was studying there, he was also asked (and did) tutor in law at the same time at University College London.
