Details

Molly joined the firm in September 2023. Molly qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022, after completing her training contract at a leading national firm.

Molly advises on both contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters. She advises on all aspects of formal insolvency procedures, including administration, liquidations, and receiverships, together with restructuring plans. Her contentious experience includes advising on antecedent transactions, wrongful trading and misfeasance actions.

Molly completed her Law LLB at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2017. Molly then completed her LPC at BPP (Leeds) in 2018.

    Recent examples of work include

    • Advised the directors of an energy broking business on one of the first mid-market Pt26A restructuring plans in the UK, taking the matter through to a heavily contested sanction hearing at the High Court
    • Advised Tesco on its acquisition of the brand and intellectual property of Paperchase
    • Advised FRP, as administrators of SE-TEK, a manufacturer of conveyor systems, on the appointment and the subsequent sale of assets of the company
    • Acting for a variety of officeholders in considering, and pursuing, former directors for misfeasance claims
