About me
As an associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency team, I advise insolvency practitioners, creditors, lenders and financially distressed companies on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
My experience covers administrations, liquidations, receiverships, restructuring plans, and cross-border issues, as well as pursuing directors for misfeasance, wrongful trading and antecedent transactions.
I’ve acted on a number of high-profile matters, including one of the UK’s first mid-market Part 26A restructuring plans, a contested High Court sanction hearing and the sale of assets in complex insolvency appointments. Clients value my calm, personal and pragmatic approach, particularly in fast-moving, high-pressure situations where clarity and responsiveness are key.
Our Leeds office CSR committee is a key focus, and I regularly organise fundraising events. Before qualifying as a solicitor, I studied Law at Newcastle University and completed my LPC at BPP Leeds.
Outside of work, I’m a keen baker and previously performed in musical theatre productions across the UK.
