Nick is a legal director in the Health Litigation team in Manchester, specialising in clinical negligence claims instructed on behalf of the NHS Resolution.

Details

Nick is instructed by NHS Resolution to act on behalf of NHS trusts dealing primarily with clinical negligence cases. In addition, he regularly provides training to clients (both in person and remotely) on a range of healthcare topics including consent, remote consultations and COVID-19, Duty of Candour, complaints, preparing witness statements, record keeping and preparing for trial.

He has a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims dealing mainly with high value, maximum severity clinical negligence cases including brain injuries, spinal injuries and amputations. He also assists his supervising partner, Jonathan Heap.

Nick completed a history degree at the University of Nottingham before earning distinctions in his graduate diploma in law (GDL) at Manchester Metropolitan University, and his LPC at the College of Law, Manchester. He completed his training contract at Pannone LLP before joining the firm in 2013.
