Parin Galaiya

Parin is a Legal Director in the Banking team and specialises in Real Estate Finance acting for a wide range of borrowers, institutional lenders, debt funds and alternative lenders on all types of investment and development transactions, including Sustainability Linked Loans and Green Loans.

Details

Parin has over 10 years’ experience acting for banks and institutional lenders, debt funds and borrowers in all aspects of real estate finance, including acting for all of the main clearing banks.

Parin specialises in real estate finance for both UK based and overseas entities and regularly advises lenders and borrowers based in the UK and the Channel Islands.

Parin joined Hill Dickinson in July 2023 from Shoosmiths and prior to that trained at Stephenson Harwood.

Parin has an honours degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham and obtained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Certificate at BPP Law School.

    • Advised The Chrysalis Fund and LCR Urban Development Fund on a £15.5 million loan to Network Space.
    • Advised RBS International on a £150 million sustainability-linked revolving credit facility to M&G.
    • Advised an institutional lender on a £27.4 million term loan facility to a Jersey property trust secured against a portfolio of 33 mixed-use properties across England and Scotland. 
    • Advised an institutional lender on a £30.72 million term loan facility to a national property investment group to finance the acquisition of a property portfolio comprising luxury apartments in London.
    • Advised a debt-fund backed lender on a £60.66 million term loan to a Jersey property trust to refinance the acquisition of a property portfolio comprising 53 student properties across the breadth of the UK.
