Prior to joining the firm in May 2016 Sarah worked for lengthy periods at Cuff Roberts/Halliwells and Tracey Miller Family Law.
Sarah undertakes all areas of family law but has a special interest in private child law. Private child law includes:
- Agreements/orders setting out where a child will live
- Agreements/orders setting out with whom and when a child will spend their time
- Internal and external relocation matters
- Specific issue court applications
- Prohibited steps court applications
- Matters relating to changing a child’s name
- Special guardianship applications

Experience
- Acted on behalf of a father to successfully prevent the mother of his child moving the child to another part of the UK
- Successfully obtained a comprehensive child arrangement order for a father where the mother opposed him having a full relationship with their child
- Successfully negotiated a financial settlement within divorce proceedings where the pension pot was worth over £1.5 million
- Acting for a husband in a dispute over the validity of a pre-nuptial agreement. The agreement was upheld in the husband’s favour
- Successfully acting for a father where a mother was acting detrimentally to a child in respect of medical treatment
- Acting for a husband in a complex case involving an application to set aside a final order made in his absence
