About me
Having practiced for nearly two decades, I’m highly experienced in shipping and international trade, working day in and day out with shipowners, P&I clubs, trading houses and shipbrokers.
I guide clients every step of the way, from deal-making through to dispute resolution, helping them understand their position and navigate the legal process through to judgment and recovery. My practice is truly international and many of the matters I take on cross jurisdictions.
I advise on charterparty disputes, cargo claims, international trade disputes, ship sale and purchase transactions, along with the drafting of charterparties, guarantees, sale and purchase agreements.
I act as a safe pair of hands, giving clients the confidence to act decisively. I’m here for whatever they need, whether it’s to explain a complex concept, answer questions or act as a sounding board.
I like to create an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, co-ordinating with clients to determine how we can both get the most from our partnership, so we thrive and succeed in the long term.
Outside of work, I keep busy. I have a young child and I also like to help out family and friends by acting as an executor of estates on a pro bono basis.
