About me
I have a broad range of experience within the Real Estate sector, with particular experience in development transactions, secured lending transactions, commercial leases and asset management.
I act predominantly for residential and commercial developers in connection with the conditional purchase or sale of land. Very often, that also involves assisting with related tasks such as conditional pre-let agreements, statutory agreements with local authorities and the eventual funding or investment sale of the scheme. It’s a broad and interesting remit.
I work with commercial and residential developers, landlords and tenants, lenders and building societies.
As a Legal Director, I really enjoy the technical nature of my work, always having to think several steps ahead to ensure the various elements and documentation for a project will continue to work together across a number of years. My clients say they appreciate my ‘cool head’ and pragmatic approach in that regard, especially when it can be so easy to get caught up in the emotion of a deal.
