About me

I’m a construction law expert who has practised as a solicitor for over 30 years.

I specialise in handling construction disputes in both England and Scotland, focusing especially on high-value and complex adjudications. I act for employers, main contractors and sub-contractors.

I’m well versed in resolving conflicts and always aim to do so quickly and effectively. I’m experienced in representing clients in adjudication, expert determination, mediation and court proceedings.

My approach is simple, but effective. I listen to the client, carefully consider any factors at play and deliver the solution they need to achieve their aims. I get things done, so when problems arise, I cut to the heart of the matter and find the most effective way forward.

I’m genuinely fascinated by the work I do, and this drives me to always do my very best. The thank you I get from clients when I’ve helped them reach a successful outcome makes it all worth it!

I live in both the UK and France, and often spend time sailing, skiing and walking in the mountains. I’m a regular volunteer at events, to raise funds for a local cancer-based charity.
