The marine sector poses a unique array of challenges and opportunities. With its roots in the maritime industry, Hill Dickinson has unparalleled reputation, experience and knowledge in this area.
Our international marine, trade and energy practice is a substantial group with more than 100 dedicated marine legal experts – many with first hand industry experience, including eight former mariners and two yachtmasters.
With experts in London, Piraeus, Singapore, Liverpool and
Manchester, the practice comprises four highly reputable teams –
yacht, shipping, commodities, and cargo, freight and logistics.
Each of the marine teams works closely with an international
network of maritime lawyers, marine surveyors, investigators and
loss adjusters to provide the complete marine legal service. Our
marine lawyers are also on hand to attend casualties, completions
and other urgent situations, with 24/7 availability if
required.
In July 2009 our global reputation for shipping, commodities and
transport work was further strengthened through the merger with
London-based law firm Middleton Potts. The combined team offers its
unparalleled client base an even wider range of advice and
geographical reach.
