Ioannis (John) Gontikas

Ioannis’ work specialises in off-shore jurisdictions and in particular the Marshall Islands and Liberia.

Ioannis’ work focuses on corporate matters of Marshall Islands and Liberian corporate entities, such as corporate actions and corporate structuring for corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships.

Ioannis also deals with transactional shipping matters, including financing arrangements of newbuilding and second-hand vessels, sale and purchase, restructurings and escrow arrangements.

Ioannis provides advice relating to the Economic Substance Regulations enacted in the Marshall Islands, and advising clients whether and how such regulations apply to them.

Ioannis is a graduate of the European University of Cyprus (2020) and is a member of the Athens Bar Association (2022).
