Lucy Nelson

Lucy assists both businesses and individuals with commercial disputes. An experienced litigator, Lucy advises on a wide range of commercial disputes including contract and licence disputes, sale of goods and supply of services disputes, technology disputes, copyright and trademark infringement, sports disputes, warranty claims, employment related issues such as breach of confidentiality and restrictive covenants, shareholder/director disputes and professional negligence.

Lucy regularly acts for clients in both county court and high court proceedings, either bringing or defending claim(s) and/or application(s), including claims for damages, pre-action applications, summary judgment applications, injunctive proceedings as well as advising on alternative dispute resolution including mediation.

Lucy understands her client’s commercial priorities and is readily available to advise on a case-by-case basis.

Lucy attended the University of Liverpool and Nottingham Law School and has achieved awards for her outstanding contribution to the Liverpool Law Clinic and her community work.
