Omar Hamid

Omar has been with the firm since November 2019, having previously worked for a leading firm for 14 years. This included 11 years as part of an in-house legal team for a major insurance client as well as dealing with dealing with multiple other insurer clients.

Omar specialises in acting for Defendants in costs disputes. He is experienced in: conducting costs negotiations including preparation of Points of Dispute, drafting statements of costs and applications; Costs Management including preparation of Costs Budgets, Budget Discussion Reports and budget negotiations. In addition, Omar has experience of supervising others, providing new starter training and conducting audits.
