Peter Jackson

Peter is a non-executive director having stepped down as chief executive officer in April 2024, a role he had held since 2016. After a 40-year career at Hill Dickinson, Peter now uses his considerable knowledge, experience and expertise to ensure the firm’s continued growth, sustainability and profit.

Details

Born and raised in Liverpool, Peter attended St Edward’s College in Liverpool before graduating in law from Exeter College, Oxford, in 1979. He joined Hill Dickinson in 1983, becoming a partner in 1989, managing partner in 2005 and chief executive officer in 2016. During that time, he guided the firm through strategic acquisitions, disposals and significant UK and international growth, increasing turnover from £45.8 million in 2005 to £129.6 million for the year ending April 2023.

Peter stepped down as CEO in April 2024. He retains his role on the LLP Board and has a number of external advisory and NED roles to which he lends his vast accumulated experience and insight as a prominent and successful business leader.
