Hill Dickinson adds Work Life Balance award to best employer credentials

Details

Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has been announced as the UK’s Best Law Firm for Work/Life Balance in the annual Legal Cheek 2022 awards.

The awards, which took place in London’s iconic Leadenhall Building (the ‘Cheesegrater’) on Friday 25 March, celebrate top trainee-rated firms and chambers based on the results of a survey of over 2000 trainee and junior lawyers.

Commenting on the win, Hill Dickinson director of HR Carolyn Morgan said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as best law firm for work/life balance in this year’s Legal Cheek awards.

“This latest award reinforces the work we’ve been doing for many years to acknowledge that our people come first and that work, while crucially important to our status and general wellbeing, is only one element of a fulfilling life. Flexible and agile working, supported by a range of policies that aim to remove barriers and support career progression regardless of personal circumstances, has helped us build a great team of committed individuals who in turn provide exceptional levels of service to our clients.”

The Legal Cheek award comes two years after Hill Dickinson was recognised by work-life balance charity Working Families as the UK’s best employer for flexible working in 2020, beating off competition from the likes of the Civil Service, Pitney Bowes, the Royal Air Force and Zurich Insurance.

Hill Dickinson was also highly commended in the Legal Cheek 2022 awards for Best Law Firm for Peer Support and Best Law Firm Working From Home.
