Details

International law firm Hill Dickinson has welcomed commercial partner Sarah Brooke to its expanding national health practice.

Sarah joins the firm’s London office from PwC Legal where she spent two years as head of public sector legal, developing a new team to provide integrated legal and consultancy advice to government clients in the UK and overseas. Prior to joining PwC Legal, Sarah worked for the Department of Health for 11 years, providing strategic procurement advice and commercial input at a national level on a wide range of DH and NHS policy, advising on risk transfer, value for money, procurement law and vires issues.

Commenting on Sarah’s arrival, Andrew Craggs, head of Hill Dickinson’s health team, said: “Sarah’s appointment is the latest in a round of key lateral hires for our expanding national health team. Sarah brings with her a wealth of experience and her renowned expertise in strategic procurement and commercial issues will further enhance our capabilities in this area.”

The firm also appointed Kiran Bhogal earlier this month to head up the London healthcare advisory team.

Hill Dickinson’s growing national health practice, which operates from offices in Liverpool, Manchester and London, acts on behalf of more than 100 NHS bodies and is appointed to the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative and the London Procurement Partnership as well as the NHS Shared Business Services and the NHS Commercial Alliance frameworks. The firm is also appointed to the NHS LA’s clinical negligence, EL/PL and Arms-Length panels and the National Procurement Service for Wales and is the sole provider of legal services to Health Education England.
