Hill Dickinson awarded partner status on North West Legal Consortium panel

International law firm Hill Dickinson has been re-appointed to the North West Legal Consortium’s £10m legal panel following a competitive tender process. In so doing the firm has also been awarded coveted partner status – one of only four law firms to be given such a position.

The consortium comprises of 43 members including local authorities and other public sector bodies.

The four-year framework is broken down into five lots with the firm appointed to advise on (lot 1) civil litigation, prosecutions and regulatory; (lot 3) corporate governance, ethical standards and information law; and (lot 5) adult social care and education. Following the successful appointment on three out of five lots, the firm was awarded partner status.

The tender was led by Sarah Swan, head of local authority group, with assistance from Sharon Thomas (healthcare), Andrew Gibson (employment), Graham Archibald (property), Mark Fitzgibbon (commercial) Martyn Smith, Naomi Newton and Gary Shaw (business development).

Commenting on the re-appointment, Sarah said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be not only re-appointed to the NWLC panel, but also to be awarded Partner status. This year as the NWLC’s training partner we are looking forward to working more closely with the NWLC and its members across the region and assisting them with their training requirements.”

The firm was first appointed to the NWLC panel in 2010.
