Hill Dickinson revealed as UK’s best employer for flexible recruitment

Details

Law firm Hill Dickinson has been announced as the UK’s best employer for flexible recruitment in the 2022 Working Families Best Practice Awards.

This latest win is the second ‘best employer’ award the firm has scooped from the work-life balance charity, Working Families, having won Best Employer for Flexible Working in 2020.

Now in their thirteenth year, the charity’s Best Practice Awards showcase and celebrate employers whose standout cultures and working practices are leading the way in flexible and employee-friendly workplaces.

Commenting on the news, Carolyn Morgan, director of HR at Hill Dickinson, said: “For Hill Dickinson to be recognised as leading the way in terms of our recruitment model is a fantastic achievement, especially as we were up against some tough competition. The fact that the judges were particularly impressed by our Returners Campaign also means a great deal to us. This is something we’ve worked hard to develop, and we really are passionate about supporting people to return to the legal profession after a career break. Being a fully flexible employer is at the core of this and that’s why our philosophy is that, as long as client needs are met, the working pattern that suits our colleagues is the one that works for us.”

Hill Dickinson chief executive Peter Jackson added: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do at Hill Dickinson. A flexible working environment not only takes time to implement, it takes a huge amount of willingness by all colleagues to create a culture in which everyone feels fully supported. Winning this award acknowledges the effort we put in each and every day to making that model work and to have that flexibility recognised once again by Working Families makes us incredibly proud.”
