Hill Dickinson welcomes 28 new trainees and apprentices

Details

International law firm Hill Dickinson has taken on a record number of new trainees and apprentices.

Fourteen trainees have recently joined and are split across the firm’s four core business groups: business services, insurance, health and marine, trade and energy, with seats based in its Liverpool, Manchester and London offices.

Four trainees were previously paralegals at the firm before successfully applying for training contracts.

On 12 September, fourteen apprentices also joined the Liverpool and Manchester offices. This year, the firm has recruited eleven legal apprentices along with an additional two apprentices in business development and marketing, as well as one HR apprentice.

Sarah Pickerill, head of talent and development at Hill Dickinson, said: “We are keen to attract, develop and retain top talent at every level. By recruiting both trainees and apprentices, we are ensuring different career routes are available for outstanding talent looking for a rewarding career within a leading law firm.”

Managing partner, Peter Jackson, added: “The firm is committed to nurturing young talent so it’s pleasing to be in a position to recruit such a strong number of trainees and apprentices this year. I wish them all the best of luck as they embark on the start of their careers.”

The firm takes on up to fourteen trainees annually with two places now reserved internally for paralegals who can apply for a training contract via the ‘Growing Talent’ programme. More information on the firm’s training contracts and apprenticeships can be found on the website.
