Amy Milson
Amy advises clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. Paula Warnock
Paula has more than 25 years’ experience providing pensions advice. Having previously worked at Mercer, Co-operative Insurance Society and Capita Hartshead, her knowledge is particularly wide ranging.
Paula has extensive knowledge of public sector pension schemes including the NHS and Local Government Pension Schemes along with the pension aspects of TUPE transfers and drafting pension scheme documentation. Paula also provides advice in respect of member disputes through the courts and Pensions Ombudsman.
Gill Rogers
Gill is an independent consultant, executive coach, facilitator, and systems leader who specialises in bringing teams together to improve outcomes through working with individuals. She is also an accredited mediator. She is passionate about improving individuals’ potential and works at all levels to achieve this.
Gill co-authored with Jan, ‘Taking Personal Responsibility for your NHS Pension’ a guide for GPNs which piqued her interest in ensuring that staff in General Practice receive the correct pension in retirement. Gill works with NHSE and other stakeholders to raise awareness of the issues that employees in General Practice face. Gill facilitates leadership support groups for nurses with Florence Nightingale Foundation. Gill is a non-executive Director of Risky Business Events, Associate Professor at HMSC, University of Birmingham and a trustee of The Eaton Fund
Jan Harley-Doyle
After a successful career in education and training, Jan joined the NHS in 1990 and spent the next 27 years in primary care management. She frequently represented the interests of her colleagues at a local level as well as devoting time to the professional development of colleagues in the broader NHS.
She set up her own company in 2009, but did not fully leave NHS employment until 2017. Since then, she has been providing training, coaching, mentoring and consultancy primarily to General Practice as an Independent Consultant.
She is passionate about what she perceives to be serious flaws in the current system of NHS Pension administration, particularly in primary care. As well as actively campaigning for change, Jan delivers training and practical interventions with the aim of enabling staff to monitor their own pension and for employers to administer it correctly.
