Andrea Proudlock

Andrea joined the firm in 2022 to develop our North East offering. Prior to joining Hill Dickinson Andrea led an established health real estate practice.

Andrea advises on estates restructurings, estates strategy, capital projects, sales, purchases, estates outsourcings and leases. She is known for her commercial, straightforward advice and always seeks to work collaboratively to ensure that transactions are delivered to time and budget. Andrea is keen to look for ways to assist estates professionals overcome the complex real estate issues often encountered in this field of law and to provide training to help upskill her clients.

Andrea went to school at Prudhoe High School in Northumberland. She read English Language and Linguistics (French subsid) at Durham University. Following university, she was employed by the Japanese government on the JET scheme and spent a year in Japan teaching English at a High School outside of Tokyo. On her return to the UK, she completed a Masters in Phonology at the University of Essex, and the CPE conversion course and LPC at the College of Law (York). Andrea has spent her whole legal career in the Newcastle advising on health real estate matters. She trained and spent several years, post qualification, at Eversheds in Newcastle, followed by Ward Hadaway’s public sector real estate team for several years, and latterly 10 years at DAC Beachcroft’s Newcastle office.
